Governance Committee Member
/Purpose
As a member of Regina Cat Rescue's (RCR) Governance Committee, you will help us guide and monitor RCR board activities.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of governance policies and procedures
- Educate and orient board members
- Recruit and nominate suitable board members
- Evaluate the performance of the board and its members
Time Commitment
- Attendance at Governance Committee meetings (approximately six meetings per year. Meetings are about two to three hours each, plus preparation time)
- One-year commitment

- Commitment to RCR's mission
- Strong leadership, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Expertise in or willingness to learn about policy development, organizational development, and professional development
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
