Governance Committee Member

Purpose

As a member of Regina Cat Rescue's (RCR) Governance Committee, you will help us guide and monitor RCR board activities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation of governance policies and procedures
  • Educate and orient board members
  • Recruit and nominate suitable board members
  • Evaluate the performance of the board and its members

Time Commitment

  • Attendance at Governance Committee meetings (approximately six meetings per year. Meetings are about two to three hours each, plus preparation time)
  • One-year commitment
