Background

They say no good deed goes unpunished and a well meaning family found this out the hard way when they rescued a couple of unsterilized kittens and ended up with an unexpected litter on their hands. They reached out for help to get vet care and adoption support and Rosie is on the hunt for loving forever homes!

Rosie is truly a gem! This sweet young cat is affectionate, even tempered, and loves to be the center of your world. Rosie will do best with older kids, as she does love to chase younger kids, thinking it's fun. Rosie is very playful and energetic, but will happily snuggle up next to you on the couch at night. She does well with dogs and other cats.

Background

Beautiful Orinda was found on the northwest streets of Regina and after attempts to locate her owner, no one came forward so she went into foster care. Orinda was pregnant and soon thereafter 5 kittens joined her in her foster home. Orinda is extremely good natured and gave her trust quickly. She was very grateful to have someone cuddle and care for her.

Orinda is a sweet and charming little lady who has been an excellent mama to her kittens. She has nursed her sweet babies but she is now ready to be the centre of attention. Orinda loves her food, and she will tell you how much every morning at breakfast and every evening when it's time for her bedtime snack. She loves to lay in the sun, and she leans in hard for chin scratches. Now that Orinda's  kittens are weaned, she has taken an interest in toys, especially a catnip mouse. Orinda is a sleek, orange kitty with petite white paws and visible orange strips. She purrs easily and is making herself at home on the couch next to her foster parents whenever possible.

Orinda will do well with other cats (after proper introduction). She gets along very well with her host cat and two other fosters, often rubbing up against them, and occasionally racing up and down the hallway in playful chase.
