Background

Stallone is a beautiful fellow who is all about love, resilience & strength! His story is much like many other RCR rescues! Stallone was loved at one time and had a home. Due to life’s circumstances, he ended up on the street and did his best to fend for himself becoming a warrior. He braved the streets, the elements & the lack of resources. Somehow, he made his way to a private citizen's backyard cat colony, and she reached out to RCR for help. Stallone made it a challenge for those involved and played hard to get, with many attempts made! However, once rescued he let it be known that he is one the sweetest and most gentle souls around! Here is his face with the chubbiest cheeks we've seen to date and he's full of hope! Stallone is more than ready for a home to call his own furrever!

Stallone's journey has been a long one. He came into care back in January intact and with no ID. He was posted on lost / found with no claims. He was sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and had his very dirty ears cleaned. Poor Stallone's eyes were really sore and they were treated with care with many vet trips and eye drops with no success. It was then determined that both eyes were entropion. With the love and care of his diligent foster mom, Stallone's condition was identified and he received the surgery he needed. He is now free from pain and infection.

Stallone is a gentle, affectionate fellow who loves his new life in foster care with a fellow RCR rescue named Willis. He would thrive in a home with another cat for companionship. Stallone (AKA "cheeks for weeks") is a bit of a shy guy but very quickly warmed up to his foster mom. He takes a while to get used to having other strangers around but is doing his best to socialize as he is nosy and likes to know what's going on. Once he gets warmed up to people his cheeky and playful personality (alongside his literal big fluffy cheeks) start to shine, and you will soon have a little grey shadow following you around your home to keep you company. Although not big into being carried, Stallone shows his affection with cute little chirps and greets you with headbutts. He loves to play with his toys or to run and wrestle with his foster brother Willis, and then is ready to cuddle and snooze  with other furry or human friends. He absolutely loves getting a good scratch on his head and a good brushing or belly rub. This sweet fellow deserves only the best and we look forward to finding him a loving forever home.

Background

Slade is an adorable little bundle of energy who came into RCR care with several siblings after they were rescued from an unsafe situation on the streets in an area already overpopulated with strays. Thankfully, a kind foster home stepped up and Slade and his siblings have been blossoming ever since.

Slade is an energetic, curious little guy who can also act as an instigator of trouble (he’s done some digging in a few plants but he responded well to corrective adjustments). The little guy just loves to play and play and gets along great with other cats. Slade is a master purr-meister who will purr loudly and instantly when you pick him up! He is sure to light up the life of his lucky adopter.
