Background

Beautiful Nyx is one of several kittens born to a stray mama cat named Lucipurr. Lucipurr was found in the worst cold of winter seeking food and shelter in the north end of the city around a condominium . She was posted as lost / found with no claims. Lucipurr was very pregnant and gave birth to Nyx and siblings March 3rd/24. The kind couple that took in the little mama have fostered the little family and look forward to finding precious Nyx a rock-star forever family!

Nyx is a gorgeous, short-haired, female, tabby  kitten with a brown coat featuring striking rings of white fur around her back legs. Born to a loving mama in foster care, Nyxhas grown into an adventurous kitten who exudes love and happiness everywhere she goes! Nyx is a ball of energy who is always ready to play and explore. She even loves to play fetch with her toy mice! Although playful, Nyx is also a calming and affectionate sweetheart. She melts into a ball of purrs when she is picked up and loves nothing more than cuddling up close! Nyx adores people and other cats, making her the perfect companion for households with existing feline friends. If you are looking for a playful sweetheart who will provide endless love and snuggles, Nyx is the one for you!

Background

Hero's mama was a young stray living on the streets of a south Regina neighbourhood with her litter of 4 kittens. Thankfully, a resident noticed her plight and contracted RCR for help. The little family was placed in foster care where they have thrived and are now ready for homes of their own.

Hero is a little sweetheart who loves to cuddle! She’s very interactive with her sibling and lets her “twin” brother Caleb steal the show most often. Hero loves to play in her tunnel and with her catnip mice. She is excellent with the children in her foster home and will make a great family pet. Hero will need a gradual introduction to new pets, per best practices for pet integration.

Background

Little Nilo was found in a busy neighbourhood known for strays. He was posted on the lost / found sites with no claims. Nilo came into care at the end of May when one of the community cat feeders had been making their rounds on their route & noticed the lil guy hungry and in need of help. The volunteer  was able to scoop the lil fella up & get him to the safety of his home where he is being fostered. Neighbours mentioned that his Mom/siblings were around too but at this time during peak season food/water is how they are being cared for. Nilo is one of the lucky ones!

Nilo is a sweet and affectionate little guy who likes to cuddle in the bed and lick your hands. Nilo likes to be close and will watch everything you do. He goes crazy when it is feeding time, and loves to take naps in sunny places. Nilo can play alone or with other cats but he is highly active and races around the house, trying to catch his own tail! Nilo is a curious little fellow who likes to explore his surroundings. He is determined to make friends with the family dog despite signs of resistance. Overall, Nilo is  a loving and playful cat with a lot of energy who would do well with other furry friends.
