FUNDRAISERS: REGAL GIFTS AND CHOCOLATE BARS

Buy great products from Regal Gifts catalogues and a percentage of your order is donated to PFA. Place your orders here: www.pfasask.shopregal.ca

Once again, we are selling the very popular and tasty Aunt Sarah's chocolate bars. Flavours include Simply Delicious (chocolate/almond/caramel), Simply Crispie (chocolate/rice crisps) and Simply Caramel (chocolate/caramel). At only $2, these are going to sell fast, so email pfasask@gmail.com to get yours before they're gone!

VOLUNTEERS: GO! RIDERS! GO!

Or should we say, “Go! PFA! Go!”? PFA is running the concession stand at this season’s Rider Games. Help us score a touchdown for our city’s homeless cats and kittens by volunteering at a game or two. Email us at pfasask@gmail.com if you’ve got that PFA Pride.

VOLUNTEERS: FERAL CAT TRAPPING AND FEEDING

We are looking for temporary volunteers to help our Feral Team to trap stray cats and kittens this spring, and for longer-term volunteers to help with our feral cat feeding routes. Email us at pfasask@gmail.com for more information.

VOLUNTEERS: FOSTER HOMES

Kitten season is coming and the calls are already rolling in. We need foster homes for these furry bundles, stat! To be a foster home, all you need is to provide a cat or kitten with a roof over their heads and some much-needed love. PFA will provide food, litter, vet care, and any other items needed. Email us at pfasask@gmail.com to offer your home to a cat or kitten in need.

VOLUNTEERS: B-I-N-G-O!

There was a farmer, had a cat, and Bingo was her name-o. As a bingo volunteer, you will raise about $15 per hour toward vet bills for foster and feral cats and kittens, and also have a lot fun! Choose from a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts. Email pfasask@gmail.com to volunteer.

VOLUNTEERS: CATHEDRAL VILLAGE ARTS FESTIVAL

People for Animals will have a table at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival again this year. We need volunteers from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 26. Can you help for an hour or two? Email us at
pfasask@gmail.com to be one of our arts festival ambassadors!

DONATIONS: FOOD AND LITTER

Did you know that our feral team feeds 150 cats per day? And we have 80 cats and kittens currently in foster care? PFA is always looking for donations of cat food (kibble and canned food) and clumping litter. Monetary donations toward food and litter are also welcome. Tax receipts are available for gifts-in-kind (with receipts) and financial donations. If you can help feed our hungry kitties, drop us a line at pfasask@gmail.com.

DONATIONS: PENNIES AND RECYCLABLES

How many pennies does it take to spay a cat? Now that the Canadian penny is being discontinued, why not donate the contents of your piggy banks to PFA? We take recyclable bottles and cans, too. A little goes a long, long way. Email us at pfasask@gmail.com to find out where to drop your donations.

THANK YOU FROM TEDDY AND TOBIAS!

We recently sent out pleas for donations for two foster cats who needed expensive dental surgery that we could not afford. Thanks to a generous outpouring from PFA supporters – which included penny collections, bottle and can drives, and financial donations – both Teddy and Tobias have had their surgeries and are no longer in pain. These two boys have a much better quality of life because of your help. Thank you so much from Teddy, Tobias, and PFA!
