Background

Abby was living in an unsafe situation outdoors with her siblings when a concerned citizen spotted them and called RCR to intervene. With the temperatures sure to drop, a dedicated volunteer responded to the scene and trapped the kittens one by one. They were then taken for vet care and moved to a foster home.  Abby arrived with all of her siblings but was the first to make friends with her foster parents and the resident host kitty. Her friendly head butts and bum waggling was her way to say hello and share her lovely personality. Abby was always the first  to explore, check out the cat tree, and the first to sit on a lap and ask for pets.

Abby is a curious and energetic young lady, but she never misses an afternoon nap in the cat tree or on the bed. Abby has a unique look about her, with her giant eyes that are always searching for anything that is moving, or scouting or food and treats. Abby is quiet, very well mannered, and loves to carry toys in her mouth. She is fast, and will be first to find a random treat on the floor and eat it. No treat goes unnoticed! Abby is a tiny little girl with big energy. She can run and chase and keep up with the boys, but can be gentle and loving, and will always purr when petted.

After a proper introduction, Abby is likely to be an excellent fit for any home looking for a second pet. She has shown no aggression to other cats when eating, playing or sharing sleeping space. Abby has been open to being petted by young children. Her playful energy and big, "love me" eyes are sure to make you fall in love with her
