Sponsor a Spay/Neuter

Are you unable to adopt or foster a cat or kitten but still want to help rescued pets? Sponsoring the spay or neuter an Regina Cat Rescue cat or kitten is a great way to make a difference. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged on the rescued cat's web page, and you will be given updates on your sponsored cat up to the time of adoption.

As no cat leaves the care of Regina Cat Rescue without being sterilized, sponsoring the spay or neuter of our foster cats or kittens will help get them ready to be adopted by a wonderful fur-ever home. The full cost of sponsoring a spay or neuter is $100, but all donations are welcome. 

Donations of $10 or more will receive tax receipts, which are mailed out in February, as per CRA regulations. To sponsor a cat's spay or neuter, you may:

  • Send us an Interac E-Transfer through your online banking, to the email address treasurer@reginacatrescue.com.

  • Make a secure donation via PayPal (please include the cat's name in the PayPal memo line so that we can appropriately direct your kind donation).

If sending your donation by mail, please also email us at treasurer@reginacatrescue.com so we know about your sponsorship right away and can acknowledge it on your sponsored cat's web page. If your cheque has not cleared your account within one month, please contact us.

Please note that once the amount required for care of the cat or kitten (spay/neuter, vaccinations, etc.) has been reached, donations in excess of the required amount will be directed towards another deserving rescued cat.
