Background

Dixie is an incredibly cute little lady who came into RCR care with several siblings after they were rescued from an unsafe situation on the streets in an area already overpopulated with strays. Thankfully, a kind foster home stepped up and Dixie and her siblings have been blossoming ever since

Dixie is a shy little lady who has taken a bit longer to warm up to her foster family after life on the streets. She is a bit timid and will hide for a while if she’s startled, but Dixie has come a long way since her rescue. Once she settles in, this sweet kitty is full of love, cuddles and purrs. While Dixie does well with the resident cats, she is less interactive with them than her sibling ( Slade) and would do well in a home as a solo cat. One thing to note about Dixie - she always lets you know when she’s hungry!

Background

Meleys is a young mama who was rescued from a harrowing situation on the streets along with 4 baby kittens who were facing a life of homelessness. Fortunately, we were able to place the wee family into foster care where they have thrived. Meleys is a delightful young lady who will light up the life of any lucky adoptive family.

Meleys is a beautiful mama to 4 kittens and is a street warrior who kept her babies safe in challenging circumstances. She is a very sweet and quiet young cat who hides in her foster mom's bedroom most of the time. Meleys loves to be petted, which makes it hard to get good photos as  the minute you talk to her, she moves in for pets. She is good with the dogs and other cats but will occasionally growl. However, she is never aggressive and she will occasionally sleep with one of her canine foster siblings. Meleys is still recovering from trauma and will require patience to adapt to a new environment.
