Background

Sweet Bunnie was found in a shelter box in a kind gentleman’s back yard who runs an independent feeding station in a busy area known for strays. He reached out to RCR as he was concerned for her safety. Bunnie was hunkered down in the shelter and not moving much so he was worried. This was a last minute rush to the vet clinic right before they closed for Easter weekend (thus her name Bunnie due to the occasion). The vet clinic kindly received her and we were grateful. Bunnie was very dehydrated and received sub Q fluids upon arrival at the vet clinic. She also received a convenia injection to help with the wounds at the base of her ears. These wounds were most likely caused by a severe case of ear mites. She has been treated with ivomec, dewormed and vaccinated. When we had her spayed, poor  Bunnie was in fact pregnant while just a kitten herself. .😢

Bunnie is an adorable young lady who had a difficult kittenhood on the street. She is grateful to be safe and sound in foster care, and it has taken her a few days to adjust to Her foster home. Bunnie has discovered that her two other roommates are not going to hurt her and has stopped growling and allowed herself to play. Bunnie demonstrates the energy of a young kitten her age now! She is inadvertently a good mouser as she captured a mouse and delivered it safely to be returned outdoors. Bunnie loves to eat, especially soft food and is quite vocal at mealtime. She is also very affectionate and loves to sit on laps and sleep and purr. Overall she is a happy and content little cat who can trill with the best  just to let you know that whatever she's doing. She gets along well with the other cats in her foster home.

Background

Storm and 2 siblings were born to their sweet mother, Jean, in a  busy area known for strays (north central). They were trying to survive keeping warm between two houses and were also seen under a deck. They were posted on lost / found sites. When no-one came forward,  the family was taken into RCR care at the end of March / 24 and placed into foster care where they have thrived.

Beautiful and fluffy little Storm is a sweet and busy little gal who takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but her loving personality quickly shines through. She loves to run and play in her cat tunnels and is good with other cats. This little beauty is the full meal deal - just check out those precious little white paws!
