Background

As an April snow storm hit Regina,  the brave and strong Karmyn gave birth to 4 kittens outside on a deck. She kept them safe from the storm with the help of some kind people who helped keep them sheltered, then reached out to RCR for help. Karmyn and her 4 babies were rescued and placed into foster care. Like most mothers, she was very protective of her kittens and is a very proud Mama! She has raised her babies into strong, healthy and independent kitties and now it is her time to shine.

Beautiful Karmyn is ready to be someone's one and only love. She would love to be the queen of her own castle. Although she is fostered with a dog, she has decided that dogs are not for her (most likely due to her time on the streets). Karmyn is a sensitive soul who loves a routine. Big changes all at once can be overwhelming for her. Love and patience are this sweet girl's best friend! She is sweet, affectionate & loves a cuddle session. Karmyn is a loyal Diva with a bit of “tortitude” that just adds to her character.

In many cultures tortoiseshell cats are considered to be good luck, such as in Ireland where they’re said to bring their owners good fortune! Karmyn may just be her lucky adopter's lucky charm!

Background

Adorable Ringo was found stray on a busy block for unwanted animals and he went unclaimed upon rescue despite attempts to find an owner. Thankfully, a young couple who has fostered for RCR before were willing to foster him and help him find a true forever home.

Ringo loves people and attention and will follow you around, insisting on being a part of whatever you’re doing in the house (from dishes to laundry to litter bins). He is an absolute catnip fiend and he loves his toys (particularly feathers and bells). Ringo also lives for interactive play, which is possibly his favourite part of the day, lol. When he is done with his entertaining antics, Ringo likes to curl up and cuddle and get belly rubs, He is also huge into rolling which is always adorable. Ringo is good with other cats but is a bit shy to start and needs a bit of time to adjust. He is good with older children as well, but he does experience petting aggression and may give a swat when he gets too hyper, thus he may not be best for young children. Nevertheless, he is a sweetheart who has never intentionally swatted at his foster parents or their cats. Overall a big suck and baby who just wants to be loved.

Background

Ombre is siblings with Sissy, another stunning but shy cat. He loves early morning snuggles in bed with his foster mom. That is the only time he allows her to touch him, but he flops and shows his belly and soaks up that early morning affection. If he was in a home where he could get more individual attention, he would probably blossom. He loves to run and play with the other cats. If there is a ball or spring on the floor, he will bat it all over.

Ombre is a sweet boy but is very shy and would require his new human to initially confine him in order to slowly build trust. He has been known to come for treats so he could be motivated that way as well.
