Background

Hugh is a wonderful cat who frequented a very busy Community Cat feeding station for over 2 years.  A kind lady who fed him indicated that it was his second winter on the streets. She reached out for help with Hugh when she noticed a nasty wound on his leg that caused limping and pain. Nevertheless, he was happy to see her and accept food. He was thankfully taken into care and placed with a foster home that stepped for him. Hugh had an ordeal with stitches, a drainage tube and a cone to help him recover from his injury but he was a good patient and prevailed.

Hugh is a typical rescued cat who loves his food above all. This sweetheart likes as much attention as he can get. He will sit on your lap and bask in the attention. Hugh loves looking out the window. He can get along with other cats and is tolerant of a laid back dog if introduced slowly. Hugh is very vocal and is a huge talker! Above all, this sweet fellow loves being loved.

Background

Cairo was a stray cat with no ID upon rescue. Although he was already neutered, he was mistaken for an unspayed  female and was anesthetized and was opened up for a spay surgery that didn't materialize. Cairo was posted on lost / found pages with no claims and was placed in foster care where he has fit in well to a busy multi-pet home.

Handsome Cairo has one goal in life and that is to be your best friend! Cairo is very friendly and adores cuddles from all humans

(men, women and children). He loves being brushed, which is a necessity to prevent mats in his soft, long coat. Cairo has proved to be a pretty chill cat and is coping well with the dogs and other cats in the home who show varying degrees of acceptance. Overall, Cairo is a gem of a cat who loves to cuddle and be around people.  He will quickly avail himself of any available lap, purring, giving kisses, and even enjoying belly rubs which adds to his charm. Cairo is sure to delight his lucky adoptive family.

Background

Harlowe is a sweet golden girl who was rescued and adopted over a decade ago. We were shocked and saddened when Harlowe was recently discovered holed up in a car engine trying to stave off the cold and awaiting rescue by Animal Protection. Thankfully, they got her safety but unfortunately  the person that adopted her had no interest in taking her back. Harlowe was placed in foster care and after a short adjustment period, she revealed her loving personality and was quick to make up for lost cuddle time!

Harlowe is a very mellow kitty considering she is a tortoiseshell! She just wants love and attention. Harlowe has endeared herself to her foster family with her adorable chirps, her love of pets and cuddles and enjoyment of sharing affection. Harlowe eats well, loves to be part of the family and is overall a lovely and healthy senior cat with a lot of love to give.
