Background

Karma is a stunning tortie who just happened in the right place at the right time on a cold winter day. A volunteer was out looking for another stray when she spotted little Karma sheltering under a shed, trying to keep warm. Cold and hungry, she got her Karma and was rescued and placed in foster care. Karma was a non sterilized kitten with no ID who was posted as found with no claims.

This gorgeous little girl has a beautiful coat with one little orange paw, and a teeny tiny orange tip on the end of her tail. Once Karma discovered toys, she was quick to demonstrate her love of playing. She carries her toy balls around the house in her mouth, throws them in the air, and chases them. She also loves chasing strings or shoelaces, and once she grabs it from you, she proudly carries the string in her mouth and walks around the house with it. Karma also loves to play with her foster parents. She chases them around the house and wraps her paws around their legs to catch them (she does this without her claws out)! She gives plenty of gentle love nibbles, especially when playing.

Karma loves to snooze in a nice soft bed or on a warm blanket and is the queen of her own biscuit factory. She keeps busy making biscuits throughout the day, purring the whole time. It doesn't take much to get her motor going! She is also a talented stylist - if your hair is not up to her standards, Karma takes it upon herself to lick it until she's satisfied

Karma loves being picked up and held like a baby and might even fall asleep in your arms! She has adapted very well to life as an indoor kitty and is definitely appreciative of her regularly scheduled yum yums. She loves to eat and gets very excited for treats and meal time. As soon as you tell Karma it's supper time, she's ready, waiting (and screaming) for her food. You can't get the food in her bowl fast enough! Like many torties, she exhibits her share of tortitude but her sass is quite endearing and entertaining. She's a little character who likes to talk to her foster parents and tell them stories. She enjoys standing at the top of her cat tree, looking out the window, and talking to anything that moves, sharing a wide variety of meows. Karma is also fascinated with the shower and will follow you into the bathroom.  She is being fostered as an only cat, so will need a gradual introduction to other pets, per best practices for integration.

Background

Beautiful Rosa's life was confusing and scary before she was rescued by RCR. She somehow found herself fortunate to land on the radar screen of a human who was happy to look after her during the cold months of winter. Rosa is a little angel who was not meant to live outdoors. She was very grateful to be rescued and placed with an RCR foster but wasn't out of danger! Wee Rosa was at risk due to a serious condition called pyometra. This can be fatal to female cats if it isn't caught in time but thankfully Rosa was seen by a vet and her spay surgery saved her life!

Rosa is a lovely young cat who is the purrfect snuggle buddy. It's not bragging if it's true, right?  Rosa is also gorgeous, friendly and can chirp like a champ!  She getst along with other kitties and kids very well.  Rosa loves to play and she is very easy to take care of. Rosa loves, loves, loves the toy laser! She is happy being around her foster mom and loves to snuggle up and sleep with her every night.  Rosa  just needs a loving human or family of humans to spend the rest of my life with!

Background

Handsome little Markiss and his siblings were born to a stray mother cat who was fortunate to catch the eye of a concerned citizen who made sure she had food, water and shelter in the later winter months and days of early spring. The kittens were rescued at the end of March and were spared the late winter storms. Markiss is now ready to find a forever home of his own.

Markiss is a little character and a standout amongst his litter mates. This good looking little dude is playful, curious and affectionate but not needy. Markiss knocks it out of the park for a family seeking an interactive and loving little cat to join the fold!  Markiss is a darling boy who is sure to please.
