Background

Pumpkin is a gorgeous orange tabby who turned up in the winter cold at a feeding station in a bedroom community. When he went unclaimed on the community lost and found pages, RCR took him into care  and placed him in a foster home. He had no ID and was unsterilized before RCR vetted him. Thankfully, he was neutered quickly and adjusted well in his foster home.

Pumpkin is a handsome and talkative fellow who is  sweet and playful. He loves wet food but is not into catnip. Pumpkin is always ready to play and chase after a toy. He doesn’t like to be picked up but loves to follow you around the house and see everything you are doing. The more the foster family gets to know him, the more affectionate he gets. Pumpkin is not the best with other cats but could get along with a slow introduction as long as they are willing to play.

Background

Marion is a sweet and petite young mother who came into care with a litter of 4 kittens after likely being abandoned in a rural area. Luckily the little family was placed into foster care and have thrived. Marion was a very loving mother to her kittens and now she is ready to find a forever home of her own.

Marion is a friendly and vocal cat who likes to follow her foster mom around the house, talking the whole time and usually asking for food! She likes to help with dishes even if she ends up getting wet. Marion enjoys scratches and pets and likes to be held. She also likes playing with string toys and sitting in the window watching the world go by. Marion would love to be an only cat and receive all of the attention! She will need a slow introduction to other pets, per best practice for integration.

Background

Opal was a skinny stray with a bad case of ear mites who decided to get brave and began to visit the home of a kind citizen who was leaving food and trying to help the poor girl. Opal would stop by to eat some kibble but would run off when people got too close. Thankfully she was able to be scooped and placed into foster care.  She is a sweet little girl who deserves a loving home of her own.

Opal is a lovely young cat who has proven to be very social and receptive to pets, despite being in a quiet home with limited visitors. She has also had limited exposure to other cats in the foster home due to their age and temperaments. She will need a gradual introduction to other pets.  However, if you are looking for a sweet and social cuddle buddy, Opal is easy to pick up and is a source of great entertainment! ❤️
