Background

Sprinkles is a darling little cat who landed in RCR care, like many in the last year, as a result of the homelessness crisis in the city.  She is a sweet and friendly cat with great potential to find a loving home of her own.

Sprinkles is an amazing little girl who is super cuddly and good with cats and kids. She was a little reactive to the dog in her foster home but is sure to be best buds with him in time. Overall, she is just a really nice cat who would be a great match for any cat loving family with or without other pets.

Background

Paisley is a darling little lady who was one of the very lucky ones in need during the recent  extreme cold snap. She showed up at the right place at the right time and was rescued before things got dire. RCR was trying for another cat, but Paisley got rescued first. She was being fed by a kind citizen in the Pioneer Village area who reached out for RCR’s help. Paisley was posted and with no claims she was vetted, placed in foster care and is now ready for her adoption day!

Paisley is a very playful girl who is good at entertaining herself with cat toys, but gets even more excited when her foster parents join in the fun. She enjoys jumping and zooming around the house, chasing balls, playing fetch, or sprinting down the stairs to her food dish at meal time. Paisley's favourite snack is the pureed food in tubes such as churro cat treats or something similar. She is an extremely sweet cat who starts purring as soon as you start petting her. She will stand up on her hind legs for pets. Paisley has the cutest meow - she loves talking to her foster parents and telling them about her day. This little gal can be a bit skittish around loud noises or sudden movements - but so can we all. Paisley likes to snuggle in bed with her foster parents, at the foot of the bed, in a comfy cat bed, or on a sweatshirt by a heat vent. She's very happy to be safe and warm! Paisley is also obsessed with her scratcher and doesn't just use it to scratch, but also uses it to play. She takes a running start, dives into her mesh tunnel, and rolls around in it. Paisley is definitely ready to find her forever home.

She loves to take a running start to dive into her mesh tunnel and then roll around in it

She loves to snuggle with people or on soft things near heating vents (check out her spread toe beans)

She gives the best “judgey” looks. Assuming she is asking for her bowl downstairs to be filled.

Obsessed with her scratcher…not to scratch it but to play with it

Background

Beautiful Alice is a young mama rescued from a neighbouring Regina resort community shy, pregnant and in need of rescue. The little mama befriended a caring family who looked after her until we could get her into foster care. Poor Alice struggled with her labour and needed emergency vet care, but she successfully gave birth to one precious kitten who went on to thrive.

Alice is an adorable little gal with big, curious eyes. She is always very gentle and kind with other cats and people, except when she shows off her playful side by pouncing on your toes when they're under a blanket!

Despite her small size, Alice is very food motivated and loves a good snack, which helps her overcome her initial timidity. Having come out of her shell, Alice will win your heart like she did with the hearts of her rescuers and foster family.

She has become close pals with her foster brother, who she enjoys cuddling up to and grooming. Once she finds her safe spaces in the house, she readily appreciates good pets, head scratches and a good nap next to her foster family in those spaces.
