Background



Andy is a fellow who has truly had to work to get his foster spot. Originally Andy turned up at one of PFA's feral feeding stations last fall. After found reports went unanswered Andy was trapped and neutered with hopes of placing him in foster care. However it was determined that he was too timid at the time and was released back to the feeding station where he and the other cats are provided for every day. Over the winter though, Andy became less and less unsure of the volunteers that came every day and soon he was the first kitty to run over to eat and say hello. With his desire to be around people so changed, he was recently scooped back up and brought into foster care.

Currently Andy is boarding at Victoria Vet clinic while a foster spot opens up for him, however he has quickly won over the staff at the clinic with his sweet personality. Andy loves to be petted and will actually reach out and grab your hand if you stop petting him. The volunteer who take his picture said that all he wanted to do was rub against the camera and be petted. This fellow has come a long way since he was first trapped and neutered, and after surviving one winter outdoors, he deserves a loving family who will keep him warm for many years to come.
