Background

Geroy was found shivering and shaking sitting on a man hole cover trying to stay warm the night before Grey Cup by a PFA volunteer who just couldn't drive past him without helping him. A late night call resulted in Geroy's placement in foster care and being cold a distant memory.

Geroy is a sweet fellow who loves to give him foster mom hugs and head butts. He is very happy to be safe and warm inside and purrs the minute he is petted to show how happy he is. He is still adjusting to the other cats and the large dog in his foster home, but given some time will be part of the family.

Geroy would do well in a home as an only cat where he can be lavished with the attention he so richly deserves. He will reward the family that adopts him with lots of love in return.

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, People For Animals will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $50 (In lieu of a Christmas gift for Dan and Elsie George, Heather George and Steve Szuta have kindly sponsored a portion of Geroy's adoption fee.)

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for People for Animals rescued cats and kittens.
