Background



This beautiful girl has certainly taken a long road to get to foster care. Originally trapped and sterilized in 2009 as part of PFA’s TNR (Trap, neuter, return) program, she eventually took a liking to a resident near her feeding station and became an indoor girl. Unfortunately the resident moved and left her behind. A kind neighbour began taking care of Princess, building her a shelter, and making sure she had food and water. It was obvious though, that Princess needed a forever home to love her, and another concerned neighbour contacted PFA for help. When PFA became aware of the situation, a dedicated volunteer spent many days earning Princess’s trust before she was able to pick her up and take her to a foster spot where she has completely come out of her shell and is thriving.

Princess is a very friendly girl who loves to spend time getting brushed by her foster mom and just hanging around her. She’s not so fond of being picked up, but certainly makes up for that by sitting beside her foster mom purring up a storm to show how happy she is. Her name suits her very well, as she is anything but a street cat, and is very happy to be safe indoors where she hopes to spend the rest of her life with a loving forever family.
