Background

Marcie was rescued just after Christmas when a PFA foster home noticed her eatting out of the garbage dumpster behind her house. Attempts were made to find an owner, but sadly no one came forward to claim this beauty so she was scooped up and taken in to a foster home.

Marcie is a rare beauty, a combination of a calico and a tabby, her markings are very unique. When she was first placed in her foster home Marcie was a little shy and unsure of herself after her time on the streets. Thanks to the patience of her foster mom and grandmom, Marcie has learned to trust humans again and has really come out of her shell.

Sitting in her foster grandma's lap is one of Marice's favorite pastimes. She enjoys "talking" to her people and being spoken too. Marcie does have a playful side, and she will happily play with a toy that keeps her close to her foster family.

Because of her need to learn to trust people again, Marcie is best suited to a quiet home with a patient family who will give her the time she needs to learn to trust her new people. The family who is willing to do this will find a very rewarding relationship with a wonderful kitty.
