Background
Jazzy is one cool cat. However, when we found him, he was a very cold cat, abandoned near Balgonie in the middle of winter. Fortunately, some employees at a car wash had been feeding him and called us to rescue him during a cold snap where the temperature dropped to -30C. Jazzy wouldn't have made it through to spring otherwise. From his scratches and scars, it was clear the poor guy had been attacked by other cats and had a hard time on the streets. Jazzy is a lover, not a fighter.
When he first came to foster care, he was still traumatized by his time outdoors and spent the first month in hiding, finding new spots whenever he was discovered. He has since come out of his shell and gets along well with the other cats in his foster home.
This handsome and sweet green-eyed tabby likes to talk to his foster mom, especially when it's time for supper! He also likes to cuddle, purr and give kisses. And he loves nothing more than to have his belly rubbed and his velvety soft fur brushed.
Jazzy would do best in a quiet home with another cat for companionship or as an only cat. After everything he's been through, he deserves a home that truly appreciates what a special guy he is, where he can feel safe, warm and loved, and where the memory of the streets is a very distant, faded one.
