Box Babies
/Adopted October 7th, 2011
These adorable kittens were recently rescued and placed into foster care after being abandoned in a cardboard box. Thankfully, they were rescued quickly as they needed bottle feedings.
They are now healthy and happy thanks to lots of TLC from their foster mom and foster cat siblings! There are 4 females: Lacy, Lara, Lena and Lexi (white) and one male, Lewis (orange) who will be available for adoption at 8 weeks of age, with their first vaccinations, the week of October 17th.
Lacy is a sweetheart who loves to be held. Her purring fills the room when touched. She is happy playing with her siblings but even happier when snuggling with her foster mom.
Lara is very vocal in demanding attention. Lara is more like a dog than a cat and follows her foster mom everywhere. Once she is held, her purrs tell everyone how happy she is.
Lena is the most adventurous kitten, and has already gotten stuck in the basement when she wasn't big enough to climb back up the stairs. She likes her cuddle time but is just as happy finding a nice cozy blanket for her naps.
Lewis has quite the personality. He is either exploring, sleeping, or climbing up your pant leg to get attention! He loves to be held and will likely grow up to be a real lap cat.
Lexi is the most laid back and mellow of the kittens. When it's time for her to cuddle with her foster mom she quietly climbs up her leg and calmly sits down to be petted.
The kittens are being fostered in a multi cat household along with a large dog and everyone gets along very well.
Note: sterilization at the age of 6 months is a condition of adoption.
