Susie

Adopted August 15th, 2011

Susie is one of several cats recently rescued from a desperate situation in a small town where a strict by-law limiting the number of pets was passed, leading to the need for several cats to find new homes immediately or risk being removed from her home to an uncertain fate.

Susie is a 5-6 year old female that has had a pretty rough life so far. She was rescued as a stray several years ago and had lost her ear tips to frostbite. In addition to that, she was pregnant and was trying to care for 3 kittens she’d already given birth to. Now spayed and vaccinated, she is safe in foster care and is looking for a true forever home where she will be loved and cared for permanently.

Susie is a very cute calico cat who loves to be part of your day. She will sit beside you wherever you are and happily receive attention and pets, curling up her feet to show how happy she is. Susie is an interactive and intuitive cat who seems to study people and understand their moods, and will bring you comfort when you are down. Her initial rescuer told us that she always knew when she had a bad hair day by the look on Susie’s face. Susie is good with other cats and small dogs.
