Junebug and Phoebe
/Adopted April 22nd, 2011
These two tortie kittens was rescued along with their mama, Sophie, from a precarious situation in North Central where one of the babies had already perished due to hazardous conditions in the home. Their brave mama Sophie, who was barely more than a kitten herself at 7 months old, had resorted to hiding the kittens in an old mattress! They have been in foster care for the better part of their whole lives at 10 months and are eagerly awaiting adoption!
Phoebe and Junebug are very sweet and calm girls. They have been spayed, dewormed and vaccinated and are great companions in their foster home! They don't take good pics but they are adorable little cats - extremely well socialized with people, other cats and dogs. They rub noses with the two large dogs in the foster home and at night they sleep curled up in a chair with the alpha male cat. They are fun, playful, brave and confident and will make terrific family pets.
The tortie kitten with the striped nose is Phoebe (pic below) and the one with the peach patch on the top of her head is Junebug (pic above). Junebug also has an orange tipped tail and markings on her paws! Phoebe is the more outgoing and adventurous of the two girls, but both are very sweet and playful!
