Sophie and Gizmo

These soft and sweet grey cats are Sophie and Gizmo. Sophie is one of PFA's all-time favourite rescues. She was found in the spring of 2008, struggling to feed and care for her litter of kittens on the streets of North Central Regina.

Sophie was quite timid at first, but eventually warmed up to her foster mom and became very loving and affectionate, especially after all her kittens were adopted and she could be the center of attention. Sophie was adopted into a very loving home and was well on her way to living happily ever after, but unfortunately is back in PFA care after her owners had a baby that is asthmatic and allergic.

So, Sophie and her look-a-like buddy Gizmo have to find new homes. Both are friendly, affectionate and playful young cats who are sterilized and fully vaccinated. Both are around 2 years old. Their owner is heartbroken to give them up, but wants them to have the opportunity to be part of family life, rather than relegated to isolation in the basement as they are currently.

We would really like to see Sophie and Gizmo adopted together to reduce the stress of being re-homed, but they can be adopted singly as well.
