Angel
/Adopted May 2009
This precious kitten is Angel, a 4-month old female who has received her first vaccination. Angel is very special to People for Animals because she is a true survivor of unconscionable human cruelty.
Angel was rescued in the early spring during record-breaking cold temperatures. She was found frozen on a driveway and quickly placed into a safe and caring foster home, where she displayed her gratitude at being rescued by purring and snuggling with her foster “mom”. However, it quickly became apparent that Angel had some very serious injuries, including cuts, bruises, ulcers on her paws, a broken tail, and an injured jaw. A veterinary exam confirmed our worst fears – that the injuries were deliberately inflicted and this tiny, sweet kitten had been terribly abused.
Thankfully, Angel has made a full recovery thanks to excellent veterinary care (which included the amputation of most of her tail) and TLC in her foster home. As she has healed, she has become very playful and enjoys romping around with her feline companions. Angel is also adapting well to the dogs in her foster home. She is a very loving and happy little kitten now.
We are looking for a very special forever home for Angel, one where animals are valued and respected, and where she can be kept safe, warm and where she will never know cruelty or abuse again. If you can offer Angel her own little piece of Heaven on Earth, please contact abanana71@gmail.com for more info.
