Background
Nelly arrived in RCR's care when a feral mother in a busy neighbourhood for stray and abandoned cats (north central) was spotted feeding babies as the cold was setting in. These kittens were being fed by a kind soul who reached out for help so that they didn't have to live out their lives as feral cats on the street. They were residing under the deck of the home for warmth most of the time. All 4 litter mates needed to be trapped and one by one they came into RCR care and have thrived. The cats were lucky enough to stay together with a very kind foster family who agreed to take them all and has worked hard to gain their trust.
Nelly is a stunning and active little guy who loves to play and chase his littermates and the adult cats in his foster home. He has beautiful, big eyes that make you melt and long silky soft fur. Nelly is adjusting well to life indoors with a family. He can be shy and timid with new people and will need to learn how to trust his new family. However, Nelly gets along great with the adult cats and is comfortable with the dogs in his foster home. He will be an amazing addition to a home with other pets.
