Background
Little Jags came from a VERY busy location for rescues, especially kittens, during the fall of 2023. A private citizen with a feeding station reached out for help when they determined that they were feeding many mothers and kittens. Their mama cat was found deceased in the feeding station and was likely hit by a car but the little kittens were doing their best to survive. RCR lent them a trap and gradually Jags and his family came into care several days apart. Jags was placed into foster care and was shy and fearful to start, but he has truly thrived with his foster family. They are confident he will light up the life of his lucky adoptive family.
It goes without saying that Jags is one heck of a cute kitten, but he's not just a pretty face! This little man is very playful and loves all his toys. And you've got to love a cat that enjoys being picked up and smooched! Jags is a good eater and gets along with dogs and other cats. Now that he's found his voice, Jags is always purring like a little motorboat. He's still not a fan of loud noises and can still be easily spooked with noises and fast movements but he is improving. Jags will be the perfect addition to any cat loving family, with or without other pets.
