Background
Precious little Clara was living in an unsafe outdoor situation outdoors with several other cats when a concerned citizen spotted them and called RCR for help. The little cats had been on their own for some time and were very timid. With the temperatures dropping, a dedicated RCR volunteer responded to the scene and gradually trapped the kittens one by one, spending hours at the rescue site. As they were caught, the little ones were taken for vet care and moved to a foster home. Clara is a little fuzzball with a giant purr and is ready and waiting for her forever family,
Sweet little Clara is a pretty tortoiseshell with a unique white "collar" and inquisitive eyes. Her coat includes shades of brown and grey and she is very soft - just like a bunny. Clara's foster parents always want to cuddle this sweet kitty because she is just a little doll. Clara is the youngest and smallest of this family, but will often chase the 15 pound host cat around the house for play! She is very playful and an excellent, quiet pet. Clara has a tiny voice and is a very polite and well-behaved young cat. She loves to cuddle with her cat family, but she is still a bit shy. Brave Clara is slowly overcoming her shyness and will sit with her foster family and allow pets.
Clara is absolutely ready for her furever home. She is a sweet, special, soft kitten that will make an excellent pet for a home that will cherish her, spend time helping her to trust, and will give lots of snuggles. Clara loves to be snuggled next to your chest and will relax to the sounds of a soft voice and gentle strokes on her pretty little head.
