Background

Shyla and her siblings were born to a stray mama cat who gave birth to her litter in the west edge of Dieppe in early spring and she kept pet rescuers hopping as she moved them amongst multiple yards in an attempt to keep them safe from coyotes and other wildlife. Thankfully they were rescued and placed in foster care after an intense effort. Shyla  is a beautiful little gal who is sure to light up the life of a loving forever home.

Shyla is a pretty calico who has orange rings on her tail, and an orange 'M' on her forehead amongst her most beautiful colours. Recently, Shyla’s brother, sister and momma have all found their forever homes. Now that Shyla is “on her own” (without her feline family), she has transitioned extremely quickly into a loving pet. While she was shy before, she is now bonding with her foster parents and the host kitty. Shyla will now lay at her foster parent’s feet, loves to be petted, and purrs every day. She has also become great friends with the foster cat in the home and has proven how adaptable she is with a proper introduction to other cats.

Shyla is extremely playful and high energy. She loves to climb and be up high, but is a great sleeper at night. She is slowly getting used being picked up and has become accustomed to normal household noises. Shyla is no longer skittish aand vocalizes her thrills with everyone.

Shyla has a beautiful, asymmetrical coat that makes her absolutely unique. She loves laying in the sun in the front window, playing with all the mouse toys (or anything that she can steal and carry in her mouth), and chasing her big orange foster brother up and down the hallway.

Shyla’s transition has been nothing short of incredible. Shyla has so much love to give. She is such a sweet girl! She is looking for someone to return her love and give her lots of attention.
