Background
Alvin and his two brothers ( Simon and Theodore) were found living in a garage with their mom in a neighborhood known for excessive stray cats. Alvin's young mom was likely left behind when her owners moved or she was put outside when she became pregnant. Thankfully Alvin's momma found a safe place to have her kittens in the shelter of a garage. Concerned citizens advised RCR about the little family and volunteers trapped the kittens and their mom and got them into foster care. Momma was tame but the kittens needed some work. The little guys are now ready for forever homes.
Alvin was the first kitten from his litter - the Chipmunks - to interact with people. Alvin immediately allowed his people to pet him and he has an instant non-stop purr when picked up and carried around. Sweet Alvin is a little character. He loves his toys, especially his mouse that he carries around in his mouth growling and batting it around. He also enjoys the spring and wand toys, the cat trees, cat scratchers, lounging in the many cat beds in his foster home and wrestling with his brothers. Alvin loves food and treats and likes sitting at the front window watching the real chipmunks and squirrels outside. Alvin gets along well with the other cats in his foster home but has not been introduced to dogs or children. Alvin's black sleek, shiny coat, white tuxedo bib and white blaze down his nose make him one handsome young man. He is ready to find a home to call his own with a family to show him what love is all about.
