Background

Maximus is a lovely fellow who has experienced a lot in his two short years of life and he's looking for a family that can give him the permanent loving home he so deserves. Max was roaming the mean streets of east Regina in the late summer of 2022 and I developed a really bad case of earmites. A family did everything they could to coax him  inside and finally on a very cold night, they were able to get him inside and that changed his life. Max finally had a place where he was safe and more importantly loved and cared for.

Max was very fortunate to have a loving foster home that provided the best of care. He is a bit shy at first due to all the trauma he experienced on the street, but that shyness quickly disappears once he gets to know you. Max  is a very loving cat who is more than ready to give you his time and affection. Maxi is very docile and not aggressive at all. Once he overcomes his shyness he loves to talk, especially at mealtime! He absolutely adores meat tubes like Churos or Tiki Cat.

Max very much loves the family that rescued him and is very grateful for their care, but he is looking to move on to another family that can share his love. With special love and patience, he will grow up to be your faithful feline and he will love you forever! Maximus is positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but is healthy and happy. FIV cats can live just as long as cats without the virus with good care.
