Background

Doreen has the distinction of being RCR's first mama cat of the 2023, coming into care off the street just in the nick of time in late February. Thankfully, she was able to give birth in the safety of a foster home instead of on the street during the winter. Her kittens have all found homes and now it's this lovely lady's time to shine!

Doreen is a stunning and unique young gal who is a rare orange tabby female. She is truly an amazing cat who was a dream mom to her beautiful litter of kittens. Doreen doted on her babies, carefully looking after them and showering them with love every day. Now she is ready to be center stage and is looking to be loved and snuggled every single day!  She’s looking for a calm environment to soak in some cuddles and pets. Doreen is a quintessential lap cat. There is nothing she loves more than to settle down in a lap, close her eyes and purr. She’s a low maintenance little lady with a wonderful personality.

Doreen is not a fan of dogs and doesn't care for a lot of noise and activity, so a home with no dogs and older children is ideal. She could get along with other cats with a gradual introduction, per best practices for pet integration.
