Background

Sweet Honeycrisp and her family came into the care of Regina Cat Rescue one fall day when someone dropped off a mama cat, Apple, who’d recently given birth. Recognizing the need to get the little family to safety, our partner quickly reached out and the cats were placed into foster care. They soon became known as the Applebox kittens and they’re as sweet as the luscious fruit they’re named after.

Honeycrisp’s a pretty and spunky little gal who has thrived in foster care and adapted well to a multi-cat home along with a cat-loving German Shepherd. Honeycrisp’s special in more ways than one -- she survived exposure to the deadly cat illness panleukopenia that sadly claimed the lives of two of her siblings. Resilient and robust, Honeycrisp thankfully didn’t experience the symptoms and has thrived. She’s received all the necessary vaccinations and is a healthy, active and happy kitten who loves to play, and is great with other cats and dogs. She’s fine to join a home with vaccinated cats, no cats, or dogs.
