Background
Peabody is a handsome and loving cat who was rescued this summer from one of Regina Cat Rescue's community cat colonies. As a deaf cat, he was picked on mercilessly by other cats until he was rescued. Once he was safe in a foster home, his sweet and affectionate nature became apparent.
Peabody is a smart, friendly and adaptable cat who has done well upon rescue. He has made many cat friends, but he would also love to be an only cat. He does get along with other docile cats, but is vulnerable to aggressive cats due to his lack of hearing. Peabody doesn’t let his deafness slow him down - he’s playful and loving, but may need a bit of extra time to settle completely into a new home.
