Background
Moana is a beautiful young mama cat who was rescued by Regina Cat Rescue after giving birth on the streets. She took excellent care of her kittens, even though she struggled with a nasty mastitis infection. Moana is named for the Hawaiian princess in the Disney movie "Moana" and now she is ready to be the princess of a new home!
Moana is described by her foster family as possibly the sweetest cat you will ever meet. She is affectionate and enjoys pets but is not demanding. She can be shy with strangers initially, but warms up quickly, and she is genuinely fond of and protective of her canine friends in the foster home. She can often be found sleeping or rubbing against of one the dogs, and also gets along well with ferrets. There are cats in her foster home and she is ok with them, but has been bullied by them and tends to flee, so she would need careful introduction to another cat. Moana would also be ok as an only cat.
