Background

Sir Galahad was found with his sisters, abandoned and trying to fend for themselves at only 5 weeks of age. Thankfully a caring person found the kittens and contacted RCR for help.

Galahad is a super sweet kitten who steals the heart of anyone who spends time with him. Galahad has been diagnosed with a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which means that the part of his brain responsible for balance didn't form properly as a baby. Though his balance is off a little, he doesn't let it slow him down. He loves to play chasing games with his foster siblings and can keep up with the biggest of them during their game of chase up and down the basement stairs. Galahad's favourite toy is anything he can carry in his mouth and once he's found something he likes, he will keep it close all day long. When he’s all played out, Sir Galahad will find his foster mom so he can be cuddled. He loves laying like a baby in his foster mom’s arms while she gives him gentle belly rubs and he purrs for hours on end.

Though Sir Galahad has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia, the only impact it has on him is his inability to jump on high objects and he needs extras steps when getting down as he doesn't land on his feet as gracefully as a normal cat would. The family who is willing to see to Galahad's loving nature and over look his slight balance issues will be blessed with a wonderful and loving feline companion for many years to come.
