Background
Cody came into RCR care unexpectedly after our feral team rescued 4 kittens and their momma from a crawl space at an abandoned house. Upon seeing Cody, it was immediately suspected that he had fathered the litter.
It was evident that life on the streets had taken its tole on Cody. He had severe facial wounds that likely resulted from a dog attack, a puncture wound to his eye.
After several weeks of trying to treat the wound it was clear he was going to lose his eye. Despite everything he's been through Cody has prevailed. He underwent the surgery to remove his eye and has recovered nicely. He is an amazingly affectionate cat who wants nothing more than to curl up on a warm lap and be loved. He will cuddle and snuggle with you as long as you will let him. It's as if Cody is making up for lost time. To meet him is to fall in love with him. He is extremely loving and will need a home where he gets an abundance of attention and affection. If you are looking for a friend who's defied the odds, and wants nothing more than to be loved and love back then Cody is the perfect kitty for you.
