Background

The more Liana kept visiting the house of a kind woman looking for food and water, the more clear it became that no one else was caring for this beautiful cat. Liana was being picked on by other cats and it was evident that she was not cut out for a life on the streets, so the lady contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help.

Once in her foster home, Liana immediately plunked down on the floor and instantly started purring - she was so glad to be safe indoors - and she's been happy ever since! She loves attention including pets, chin scratches, belly rubs and being brushed.

Liana is a friendly and easy-going cat who greets her foster mom at the door awaiting love and affection, but she isn't too demanding as she also enjoys just looking out the window at the birds, squirrels, passing people and cars. Liana got along fairly well in the cats in her foster home, and with the proper introduction would do well with another kitty. Liana loves to purr and happily hangs out with her foster parents whenever they are around. Her foster mom says "Liana is a joy to have around" and we have to agree!
