 Background

Hariette came into the care of Regina Cat Rescue after she was found in rough shape living on the streets at Regina Beach. She had serious wounds from being attacked by other cats and was in need of vet care. Thankfully, she found herself in RCR’s capable hands where she received the care and love she needed to heal.

Hariette is a sweet and loving cat. She can be a bit shy initially, but it doesn’t take long to win her over with some attention, because affection from people is what she loves best. If head butts, chin scratches, belly rubs, and pets are on offer, she will gladly accept them all and show her appreciation with non-stop purring.

This sweetie is fond of chatting and will meow, chirp and trill away to her foster mom. She also enjoys playing and can be found batting around her toy mice for a game of chase. And when all the pets and playing is over, you’ll find Hariette perched in front of a window intently watching the world outside.

After her time on the streets she is a little unsure of other cats, but with some patience and a slow introduction, she'd settle into a multi-cat family.
