Background
When Sparta was only days old, she and her sister were abandoned by their mom when she got scared and ran away from the farm house where Sparta and her sister were born. Unable to find the mom, and knowing that the kittens couldn’t survive long without their mom, the farmer contacted RCR for help. Though RCR is not set up to handle emergencies, a volunteer was able to make arrangements for the kittens during their lunch hour break, and Sparta and her sister found themselves with an experienced bottle feeder.
Sparta is a playful little girl who loves to spend her afternoons chasing her sister, and the other cats in her foster home, around the house. Pouncing and wrestling is naturally how all of the chasing games end. Sparta also enjoys hanging out with the dogs in her foster home. When the fun and games are over though, Sparta is all about the cuddles. Snuggling into her foster mom’s lap for some much loved TLC is something Sparta loves to do.
