Background
Jack is one of those cats that managed to orchestrate his own rescue. While out walking in North Central, some children noticed Jack on the sidewalk. After stopping to give him a pet or two, Jack decided that he would follow them home. Unable to find where he belonged, the family contacted RCR to get Jack a home that would never leave him outside again.
Jack quickly made himself at home in his foster home and became friends with both the foster cats as well as the resident dog. Playing games of chase with the other cats in the house is something Jack enjoys doing. It is quite common to see Jack chasing or being chased up and down the basement stairs with another foster cat or two in the mix. When the races have been run and he is ready for some down time, Jack enjoys curling up beside his foster mom so he can get some pets while he purrs away.
