West and Minnie at Home
/
In the summer of 2012, People for Animals was contacted by several people who were concerned about the fate of the two beautiful female cats who had been long-time residents of Westminster United Church. A new staff members with allergies meant that the cats had to go.
We were super lucky to have a kind family take West and Minnie in for fostering after putting out an appeal for help. As older senior cats, and with West being diabetic and needing daily insulin, it was no easy task. Fortunately, the foster family proved to be kind, patient and very diligent with their care. They love West's playful ways and her goofy treatment of socks and slippers, and root for shy Minnie as she cautiously makes her way to be with them, purring up a storm.
After having the girls for over a year, the family decided that West and Minnie are exactly where they belong and decided to officially adopt them.
Here are West and Minnie cuddled up together in their new pet bed, an x-mas present from their humans!
Thanks to everyone for their concern and good wishes for these sweet girls.
