Desperate Request for Help from Cancer Patient

People for Animals has received a request from the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency to help one of their clients with her cat while the woman undergoes a lengthy treatment in Saskatoon.
She is required to be in care in Saskatoon for 3-6 months and can not be exposed to animals as she will have no immune system due to the cancer treatment.
She and her partner have already made many sacrifices, financial and otherwise, due to her condition and can not afford boarding fees for the cat for more than a few weeks. However, they are hoping that they won't have to give up a beloved pet which would further add to the tragedy of the illness. There are no nearby family members that can help.
The cat needs a temporary home for the months that her owner is in Saskatoon. Food and supplies can be provided.
