Meet Miranda!

This adorable little tabby kitten is Miranda, a tiny girl who was rescued recently by a kind animal lover who noticed her struggling in an overcrowded  situation, trying to fend for herself against other animals while coping with an obvious visual impairment.

The lady contacted PFA for help getting Miranda veterinary care and a permanent home. We were dismayed when the vet who examined her confirmed that Miranda is indeed blind, most likely congenital in nature.  However, she is perfectly healthy otherwise and now that she is safe in foster care, this spunky girl is busy showing us that she is just like any other kitten and her blindness is not slowing her down!

Miranda is litter box trained, eats well and loves to play! She is cuddly and affectionate and very adaptable.  She settled right in and has made herself at home, and charms everyone she meets.
